About Me and My Career

Baseball has been in my blood ever since I can remember.  It seems that no matter where I went or what I was doing I always had a bat in my hands.  I knew from an early age that baseball was all I ever wanted to do.

Now that my playing carreer is winding down and coming to an end, I want to pass along my experiences and all of the knowledge that I have acquired on to the next wave of players who have aspirations of becoming a professional player someday.

I went to high school in Panama City, FL and after leading the entire state in hitting (.527 avg) and being selected to Team Florida, I went on to play at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.  During my 4 years there, I went on to set many season and career records that I still hold to this day...including career batting average, homeruns, rbi's and total bases.  My Juinor year was my best of the 4....hitting .368 with 24 homeruns and 93 rbi's.

After my senior year I signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001.  I spent 5 seasons with Arizona, making it to Triple A and leading the entire organization in homeruns and rbi's for 2 consecutive seasons (2003 and 2004).  In 2003 I set the single season homerun record for Lancaster in the California League with 31, to go along with 108 rbi's and being named to the USA Today minor league all star team.

After a couple of short stints with Cincinnatie and Philadelphia, I've been playing independent ball hoping the big leagues will call one day. Over my 13 (and still counting) years of playing in the professional ranks I have learned from the best of the best and I want to pass along what I've learned to the next wave of all stars!
